Glatt & Verkehrt

The 19th issue of the renowned Krems music festival takes place in July 2015—as usual, in close cooperation with Radio Ö1—in the cultural world heritage of the Wachau region to take its visitors on a musical voyage of exploration around the globe. Every year, Glatt&Verkehrt defines the phenomenon of world music all over again: from originaltraditional to contemporary music, from world premieres to unorthodox artistic encounters and exciting new projects. The featured artists from (almost) all over the world have one particular thing in common: their involvement with their own musical roots, be they traditional folk music, jazz, classical music, or the avant-garde.
